Bienvenue à Mes Amis Preschool!
Mes Amis Preschool is a warm and welcoming bilingual environment for three and four-year-olds integrated into École St. Matthew School in Saskatoon.
About Us
At Mes Amis Preschool, our term runs from September through June and observes the same holidays as the Greater Sasktoon Catholic School Division. We are non-denominational and parent participation is encouraged. We offer classes for 3 and 4 year-olds.

Mission
The mission of the Mes Amis Preschool program is to provide a structured and creative French Immersion learning environment for children aged 3 and 4 to promote their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth through active participation in individual and group activities, selection of materials, and sharing of ideas and interests within a safe and welcoming space.
Our Facilities
Located in Ecole St. Matthew School, our preschool has a dedicated classroom and outdoor play space as well as access to school shared-spaces like the gym and library.
Our Classroom
Conveniently located at the front of the school, our classroom is well suited for young children with play areas, child-sized tables and its own washroom.

Outdoor Space
We have our own private outdoor play area that includes an outdoor kitchen, sand, and other exciting forms of play.

Shared Spaces
Mes Amis students have access to shared spaces in the school like the library, gym, and playground.

Curriculum
Mes Amis Preschool strives to create a positive first school experience, while at the same time providing a special focus on French Immersion kindergarten readiness. Our learning objectives fall into four main skill sets.

Language
French and English language skills are developed throughout the year, with exposure to language through activities, stories, and song.

Cognitive
Students will ask questions and discover how things work through inquiry-based activities, puzzles, and problem solving.

Social Emotional
Social and Emotional skills are developed through play, sharing, listening, and self-discovery in a low-stress, structured environment

Physical
Team sports, cooperative games, and physical activity help build fine and gross motor skills as well as hand-eye coordination.
